I think the time when fungi send up their spore bearing bodies (think toadstools and mushrooms) could be nearly over for the year. This one though, doesn’t seem to want to stand down from protecting whatever lives in the cave beyond.

A Woodland Ladder

The amazing ivy clutching to the old beech trees in Lambridge Woods, South Oxfordshire, were the inspiration of how Nash coerced Leo to leave the ground for the first time in her life. With a woodland ladder like this … why wouldn’t you have a go at tree climbing?
